SolutionsDevelopers Hosts October Technology Leadership Roundtable
Lawrence Hale, U.S. General Services Administration, is Keynote Speaker

SolutionsDevelopers welcomed Lawrence Hale, CTO in the Office of Integrated Technology Services for the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), as the keynote speaker for the October meeting.

Mr. Hale’s presentation focused on GSA’s SmartBUY initiative, which is a government procurement vehicle that provides favorable prices and terms for software products. “Larry gave great insight on specific segments of GSA’s SmartBUY that benefit both federal agencies and small businesses,” said John Gilroy of SolutionsDevelopers. “The program hits on two of the main goals of the Obama administration – lowering the cost of government and ensuring a safe computer environment.”
