SolutionsDevelopers Hosts June Technology Leadership Roundtable
Jon Mihalic, Director of Project Management Institute Serves as Keynote Speaker

DULLES, VA – June 15, 2010 – Today the SolutionsDevelopers Corporation announced the June meeting of its Technology Leadership Roundtable. The roundtable welcomed Jon Mihalic, Director of Project Management Institute (PMI), as this month’s keynote speaker.

At the meeting, Mr. Mihalic discussed the discipline of Earned Value Management (EVM) and the benefits it provides to organizations. When applied correctly and endorsed by all stakeholders involved, Mr. Mihalic observed, EVM can help improve the definition of a project’s scope and provide management with greater clarity on the progress of software projects.

In addition to being an award-winning project manager and member of the PMI board of directors, Mr. Mihalic has 18 years of project management experience, giving him a unique perspective on the discipline. Drawing from his background, he shared his thoughts on differentiating levels of EVM certification and the project size that would most likely benefit from it.
