SolutionsDevelopers Hosts Monthly Technology Leadership Roundtable
Mr. Bill Vass, Sun Microsystems Federal, is May’s Keynote Speaker

Reston, Virginia – May 7, 2009 – Today, the SolutionsDevelopers Corporation hosted the May installment of its Technology Leadership Roundtable. SolutionsDevelopers and the Technology Leadership Roundtable welcomed Bill Vass of Sun Microsystems as May’s keynote speaker.

Today’s session centered on Open Source software initiatives in the Federal sector, including the impact that Open Source has on Federal procurement cycles, security requirements, and quality initiatives. Mr. Vass also shared his perspective on various Open Source licensing models and trends in the market, as well as the viewpoint that other national governments, such as India, China, and the United Kingdom, are taking on the topic.
